Tamakoshi V Hydropower Project
Lamabagar,Orang,Bulung,Laduk,Gauri Sankar (Dolakha)
The Tamakoshi-V Hydropower Project is located approximately 170 km north east of
Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal and approximately 40 km away from the district headquarter of Dolkha District- Charikot Bazaar. The district head-quarter is connected with
the capital by Arniko Highway upto Lamasangu which is approximately 90 km and by
Lamasnagu – Jiri road which is approximately 40 km up to Charikot. A gravel road of about 33 km is available from Charikot to Singate Bazaar is recently upgraded for the
construction of Upper Tamakoshi Project. The newly constructed road connecting
Singate Bazaar and Lamabagar for the construction of Upper Tamakoshi HEP passes
from the both powerhouse and the headwork sites of this project. This road is recently
built. Apart from the powerhouse and headwork sites of this project location of the adit
tunnel for the construction of the headrace tunnel is very close to the newly built road.
Thus the access to the construction adit will also be easier. Hence, this project does not
need access road. However; few kilometers of project road is to be constructed to reach
surge tank site, adit tunnels at surge tank, adit tunnel for the underground powerhouse
and some particular locations of the project before the construction of the project.

Lower Modi-II Cascade Hydropower Project
Chuwa,Shivalaya,Katuwa Chaupari (Parbat)
Lower Modi-2 Hydropower Project (10.5 MW) is being developed as the cascade project of the upstream Lower Modi-1 Hydropower project. The project is in its design phase. The energy generated from the project will be evacuated to the national grid by 3 km, 132 kv transmission line to existing Lower Modi-1 switchyard and then on common system to NEA Modi Substation at Dimuwa, Parbat. The connection agreement is concluded with NEA, and the PPA is in process. The Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the project is near to completion. The construction of the project is estimated to begin from early 2016.

Rudi Khola-B Hydropower Project
Mijuredada (Kaski) Pasagaun (Lamjung)
Rudi Khola - B Hydroelectric Project is a run-of-River (RoR) type project and is proposed to be developed by Bindhyabasini Hydropower Development Company Ltd., with an installed capacity of 6.6 MW with 300 m net head and 2.5 m3/s (cumec) design discharge at Q40%. This project is being developed in tandem with Rudi Khola - A Hydroelectric Project (8.8 MW) in cascade system.
